Valutazione IA

Great go to product
Unfortunately our vet practice has a high number of staff off due to Covid and since my dog didn’t have a fever, and was not off his food, they said he wasn’t an emergency that day, and to phone the out of hours service that night if he got worse.
I ordered this Monday because it said it would come that night and gave my dog a good bath too in case that would help. Unfortunately this product then changed its status to arriving Tuesday, but I do understand shipping is very hard right now. I figured one tube wouldn’t last long anyway with my dogs larger size, and I really wanted something to help him that day, so I drove to Pets at Home to get another tube of the exact same stuff as I saw they had it in stock.
I started giving it to my dog Monday evening and continued into Tuesday. I also started giving him only wet trays and pouches of food that day instead of a mix of wet and dry, mostly to try to up his fluid intake as much as possible as I know that’s important with urinary issues.
By Tuesday afternoon he was markedly better, smiling and running about. By the evening he seemed to be even better but I noticed he maybe was laying slightly awkwardly sometimes still. By Wednesday he was completely back to normal and seemed to have zero discomfort at all. Today is Thursday and he is totally happy and comfortable and I think urinating with more ease than he has in years!
I am glad I have two tubes and I am going to continue giving him this paste with wet trays and pouches. I will definitely be ordering more off Amazon.
Regarding the taste - I tried to give it to him on a spoon initially, because he will take medicine in peanut butter or cream cheese on a spoon but he wasn’t having this. He sniffed it and turned away. It was just the paste/gel on its own, there was too much to mix with anything on the spoon. Since he wasn’t off his food I just mashed it into a little bit of wet food in his bowl and he ate it fine that way. It says “not to be given on an empty stomach” so I thought that would be ok, and it’s worked great.
Actually glad now the vet couldn’t see us Monday as I’ve saved a lot of money and this has worked much better than any (expensive) thing they have ever given us for UTIs etc!
